The building – headquarters of the Serbian Orthodox Church municipality in Vranjevo, located at 69 Josif Marinković Street.
This building was bequeathed to the church by its former owner, Vladimir Glavaš. The house serves as an example of a wealthier urban residence from the first half of the 19th century. Inside the house, there are remnants of period furniture (two chairs, two old sofas, one wall cabinet) and several portraits (4 pieces) of certain members of the former Glavaš family, painted by the artist Nikola Aleksić.
The woodwork – door frames, windows, wallpapers, and other decorations from the corresponding era – blends excellently with the house's interior as decorative elements. On the main façade, a marble plaque is installed with the inscription: “Here was born Dr. Vladimir Glavaš, a great national benefactor, 1834-1909.”
The building is an exquisite and pure example of a Biedermeier-style house, reflecting all the intimacy and warmth of the period. Since some of the furnishings and interior decoration are partially preserved, the ambiance is more complete and evokes a sense of the time when it was built. As a constructional, stylistic, and aesthetic civic work, it should be preserved in its current appearance, which is why it has been placed under legal protection by the Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, by decision No. 941/67 dated June 1, 1968, and by decision No. 581 dated October 7, 1968 (for the portraits).
