Morning Report
During the morning session, Ivana Eremić, the fifth player of Jedinstvo Novi Bečej, took to the lanes. The pressure of the occasion was evident, as nervousness affected both her performance and final score.
In her first 50 deliveries, she achieved a modest result by her standards—135 pins in full throws and only 54 in clearing, including five missed attempts. The second half of her performance brought little improvement. During the fifth lane, Ivana received a yellow card for a foot fault, which further disrupted her concentration. She completed her performance with 397 pins.
Evening Report
The evening brought much better news from the Musandra Bowling Center in Skopje. The women's team of Bowling Club Jedinstvo Novi Bečej secured a place in the European Cup Final, earning a spot among the four best teams in Europe.
The greatest responsibility rested on team captain Đenđi Kiš, who was the final player to compete. Her task was to protect Jedinstvo's narrow advantage over the teams from Austria, Germany, and Slovenia.

The tension was evident from the very beginning. After her first 50 deliveries, Đenđi Kiš had scored 209 pins, but she managed to preserve the team's advantage because her German rival trailed by three pins.
The final stages of the competition were filled with drama. Germany's Ursula Cimerman reduced the gap to just six pins, and qualification for the final was decided by the smallest of margins. Although Cimerman recorded a higher individual score of 417, Đenđi Kiš's total of 405 was enough to maintain Jedinstvo's overall lead and secure the team's place in the European Cup Final.
The final qualification standings were:
- Rapid Bucharest – 2,669 pins
- Kofem – 2,634 pins
- Rijeka Kvarner Osiguranje – 2,630 pins
- Jedinstvo Novi Bečej – 2,543 pins
The Croatian club featured former Yugoslav international Biserka Perman, who achieved the best individual result of the qualification round with 484 pins.
These four teams advanced to the final stage of the competition, where they would compete for the European Cup medals the following day at the newly built bowling center of the Universal Hall in Skopje, a venue capable of hosting nearly 1,000 spectators.
