Bowling Alley in the Workers' Home

At the beginning of 1975, thanks to local self-contribution funds, the construction of the Workers' Home in Novi Bečej began, which included a four-lane automatic bowling alley. The construction of this significant facility took less than 16 months, and the official opening was held on October 1, 1976.

Laslo JagerIn the basement of this building, an automatic four-lane bowling alley shone brightly, at that time one of the most modern in Yugoslavia.
The grand opening of the bowling alley was organized during the New Year's holidays of 1977, where, in addition to the team from Jedinstvo, Vojvodina from Novi Sad, Proleter from Čoka, and Dinamo from Pančevo participated.
Vojvodina took first place with a score of 5,170, followed by Jedinstvo (5,139), Proleter (4,956), and Dinamo (4,907).
The players for the JEDINSTVO team were: Baranji 853, Oroslamoš 859, Neatnica 814, Lazić 829, Sič – Ivan 832, L. Jager 959.
The best result in the tournament was achieved by Jedinstvo member Laslo Jager with 959, second place went to Franja Mihajlović (Vojvodina) with 944, and third place went to Mohači (Vojvodina) with 911.
