The women's team of Jedinstvo are the winners of the European Cup in nine-pin bowling! It is now finally official. The scoreboard looks absolutely wonderful:

In about ten minutes, the Yugoslav national anthem will be played here, and our flag will be flying proudly. Congratulations to all the players on this magnificent achievement!
First and foremost, congratulations to captain Đenđi Kiš, who played the match of her life. Great credit also goes to Erika Kolarević, whose score of 429 gave us an early indication that our celebration was coming, as well as to the outstanding and decisive Andrea Vaš, who was in exceptional form today.
A huge contribution to this victory was also made by Ivana Eremić, Ildika Kormanjoš and Jelena Majstorović.
Credit must also go to the reserve players Tijana Svilengaćin, Ildiko Ilija, Mirjana Dudevlev and Hermina Rajber, and, of course, to coach Laslo Makri, who led the team to this tremendous success.
Novi Bečej, and especially all bowling fans, can celebrate tonight!
The only thing I know for certain is that here in Skopje, at the Aleksandar Palas Hotel, one of the most luxurious hotels in Skopje, the celebrations will continue until morning!
Finally, let me add that our golden expedition will leave Skopje by second-class train at 7:30 a.m., and we should arrive in Belgrade at around 5 p.m.
