The failure of the "Swimming Day" on August 18, 1940, did not deter swimming enthusiasts from their goal to establish an independent club. Just a month later, on September 18, 1940, the founding assembly was held, resulting in the creation of the Tisa Swimming Sports Club.
The assembly set the operational rules and elected the leadership. The Board of Directors was composed of five members: Rada Aćimov "Bakar," the accountant of the Water Cooperative in Novi Bečej, was elected president; lawyer Dušan Marković was chosen as vice president; Branislav Kiselički, a veterinary medicine student, became secretary; Stevan Mojić, a student, was appointed treasurer; Herman Bergel, a law student, was the technical officer; and Stevan Kiurski, a student at the Trade Academy, served as the host. For the Supervisory Board, Radivoj Ajduković, the well-known Novi Bečej photographer Konstantin Vukov, and Đorđe Brikner were selected.
After the election assembly, secretary Rada Aćimov "Bakar" of the club sent a request to the Ministry of Physical Education in Belgrade on September 25, 1940, for approval to operate the club. The approval arrived quickly, and under the new administration and the energetic president, the club continued its activities despite the end of the swimming season. During the winter, several social events and gatherings were held, which sparked great interest among the youth.
The Tisa Swimming Sports Club was well-organized in preparing for a major concert, with the proceeds intended for the construction of a swimming pool. On February 12, 1941, PSK Tisa sent a letter to the Citizens' Reading Room in Novi Bečej, requesting the use of its hall for the concert. The letter read:
"Signed by Radivoj Ajduković and Rada Aćimov, on behalf of PSK 'Tisa,' we kindly ask that you make your hall available for a concert. We also request that the stage be made available for the performance. The net proceeds will be used for the construction of a swimming pool.
Novi Bečej, February 12, 1941.
President of the Board, R. Aćimov s.r."
The club’s request was approved, and the concert was successfully held on February 22, 1941. For the swimmers, this event, called the "Sports Entertainment Concert," was a form of club promotion. It is recorded in Branislav Kiselički's diary that "Miss Sport 1941" was chosen during the event. The evening was well-attended, and the club raised significant funds from ticket sales (net income around 1,600 dinars), which indicated that PSK Tisa would begin the new season with sufficient funds for the planned construction and arrangement of the swimming pool on the Tisa, team travel, and competition organization.
However, in April 1941, everything came to a halt as World War II began.
